香港中文大學音樂系的師生與畢業生將一同表演中、西管弦樂和合唱，展示中西並蓄的藝術魅力，以慶祝音樂系成立五十周年紀念。多名肆業於音樂系的著名作曲家攜手把系內師生最為熟悉的崇基學院院歌重新編曲，當中千變萬化的旋律，寓意音樂系為孕育大量獨一無二而又創意非凡的藝術家的搖籃。

The Department of Music and its alumni proudly present the 50th Anniversary Gala Concert which showcases a wide variety of festive music, featuring Western and Chinese orchestral works and choral music. Audience will be fascinated by the artistic vibrancy of the performance. Renowned composers graduated from the Department have joined hands to re-compose a large theme and variations based on our most familiar Anthem of Chung Chi College. This beautiful piece of work signifies the role of the Department of Music as a home for nurturing unique and creative talents.
